Standard or ceramic?
Standard film adds privacy and cuts glare and UV. Ceramic does all of that and blocks far more infrared heat, so the cabin stays cooler, with no interference to phone or GPS signals. For a car you sit in traffic with, ceramic is worth the difference.
How dark can I go?
As dark as you want. For reference, Virginia allows 50% on the front doors and 35% on the rear doors and back glass for sedans, and Maryland allows 35% all around. SUVs and trucks are allowed darker rear glass in both states. Use the shade preview above to pick, and ask us if you want to know where the line is.
What is a windshield sun strip?
A band of film across the top few inches of the windshield, above the line where full tint is not allowed. It cuts low-sun glare without affecting your view of the road. $50 standard, $100 ceramic.
How long does tint take, and what about care?
Most sedans and SUVs are done the same day. Keep the windows up for three to five days while the film cures. A little haze or small water pockets in the first week are normal and clear on their own.
